Navajo Police Officer Houston James Largo Passes From Critical Injury

ALBUQUERQUE - The FBI Albuquerque Division issued a media update stating that Navajo Police Officer Houston James Largo, 27, passed today from critical injuries incurred from being shot early Sunday morning. Largo was responding to a domestic violence call near Prewitt, N.M., on the Navajo Nation.  The officer was taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque where he passed at approximately 3 p.m. Largo was a decorated officer who served with the Navajo Police Department for a period of four years and six months. Navajo Police Officer Critically Injured

PREWITT, N.M.-According to a statement released by the FBI Albuquerque Division, a Navajo Nation Police Officer was shot early Sunday morning while responding to a domestic violence call near Prewitt, N.M., on the Navajo Nation. The police officer is said to have been critically injured. A suspect is in custody. The officer was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital.
