President Begaye Supports Emergency Legislation Calling for New NHA Board

WINDOW ROCK-On  April 20, the Navajo Nation Council voted 16 in favor and 4 opposed in approving an emergency legislation calling for the immediate reselection and confirmation of the Navajo Housing Authority (NHA) Board of Commissioners. The legislation cited the letter signed by President Russell Begaye, Speaker LoRenzo Bates and Delegate Alton Joe Shepherd that was sent to the NHA Board expressing great concern about recent questionable board activities.
